If you like to see evil publisher Activision getting what it deserves for its greed and hubris, then this is the story for you. The LA Times is reporting that the nefarious company is getting "little to not compensation" in the Brütal Legend settlement, which is fine by me.
The news comes from an anonymous informant that details how and why Activision lost out after acting like a possessive ex-husband and trying to get Brütal Legend back. According to the informant, "it appears very likely that Activision received little to no compensation from Double Fine and agreed to a settlement to avoid losing its case in open court."

So glad to see EA was not overly penalized for saving this game. Bring on Rocktober already! Wish they'd move it up to Rocktember.
But Jack Black profits from this, That's something I can't condone.
I was affraid rocktober wouldn't come, now that this is settle I can preorder it...
This is a bright day for video games indeed.
