It’s that time of year again -- spring training is in full swing, and the start of the baseball season is right around the corner. That’s for the big leagues, though; since kids have that pesky nuisance of, y’know, school, the Little League World Series doesn’t kick off until the summer. That’s when you can expect to see Activision’s Little League World Series Baseball 2009 hit store shelves for the Wii and DS.
I must say, I’m happy to see this sequel to last year’s LLWSB 2008. I previewed that game, and I liked it a lot. I was worried that it wouldn’t sell well enough to warrant a franchise, but apparently, it did! We’ve got a trailer for you after the break; it shows off new features like a regional tournament mode and a full team editor. The video also has a pretty kick-ass backing track.
