Act like this is new to you: Blue Castle rumored to be doing Dead Rising 2 photo

This past summer, Nick told us that The Bigs developer Blue Castle might be taking over the duties for Capcom on the next Dead Rising game, and that there was evidence that the sequel would be episodic.

About a month after this, Jim caught word of even more evidence. While not true confirmation, Vancouver metal band Cradle To Grave mentions that they worked on songs for a "Zombie Ritual" game for Blue Castle.

Finally, this new rumor seems less like one. The folks at Eurogamer seem to be pretty stand up guys, so we'll believe them when they say that they received confirmation from a source in Vancouver that the sequel had been handed to Blue Castle.

The source said: "Everyone's really excited; the team has obviously seen the rumours and it's been hard to keep quiet, but they can't wait to show off the game."

Eurogamer also points to Blue Castle's Web site, which says that they are working on "an unannounced Action title." They're also hiring for this action title, with the job listing stating: "It's getting around - there is something amazing being built here at Blue Castle behind locked doors."

This is totally unrelated, but are the store-bought White Castle microwaveable burgers any good?

I'm pretty sure even zombies agree that White Castle is the most disgusting crap ever made.

Microwaveable White Castle burgers are only good if one had nothing else to eat and 7-11 has nothing else to sell but that.

I think the microwavable burgers are pretty good, but I've never had the real thing. Probably shit in comparison.

Great, a nothing developer being given a franchise to probably screw up.

There was a certain charm to ramming zombies with a trolley and (literally) bowling them over while listening to chintzy elevator music. Now we get generic metal in the background instead. Yippee.

I remember reading an article where Capcom said they weren't going to make a sequel , which pissed me off. How could they not make a sequel. Frank is not safe, and he has a freaking tank. Now I'm hearing they are going to have a sequel but some random company is going to be making it. I love Capcom but really they need to get their heads out of their asses, and give us Rival Schools 3 already.

I'm worried about this game being in the hands of an untested team like Blue Castle. Let's hope the "rise" to the challenge of makeing a worthy sequel.

Get it? "Rise"? As Alf would say..."HA"?

Also, looks like their still hiring for this "action title", so it's likely not that far along yet.

no they're not all that great. Like a microwave pizza is to one from a pizza joint you like is a good comparison.

But what's your alternative? Closest I can get is a chain called Krystal Burger in tx. They are national, so look around and see what you can find.

Bigger fonts, better save system, don't mess with the mechanics.

Maybe set in a hospital? Or a carnival? That'd be cool
