In a sea of sequels, one of my biggest surprises at E3 2010 was ACE Team's Rock of Ages. Long story short, it's batsh*t crazy and I desperately want to try it out. Long story long, Tim has a preview of this bizarre take on the increasingly lifeless tower defense genre.
I was so caught up in its initial showing that I kind forgot all about Zeno Clash 2, which ACE Team has mentioned a few times before. Big Download thought to follow up with co-founder Andres Bordeu, so props to them!
"All I can say is that we have developed some content for the sequel, but at this point the studio has decided to focus on developing new games/IPs, thus Rock of Ages is our main priority."
"And yes," Andres continues, "we are working on another game concept which is not Zeno Clash 2. We're a small studio so there is only so much we can work on simultaneously."
In my eyes, holding off on Zeno Clash 2 for the time being is a wise idea -- and the sequel will be better off for it. Plus, I really do want to see what's up with that rock dude. Why does he have a face?

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Well, Rock of Ages reminds me of that, but with artisic edutainment. Only you have to pay more for something you could easily play in a field/garden for half the price.

I just do not get the love for this game at all. I love love love the art style as it reminds me of the sort of comics I used to read as a kid but as a game it blew.
