Despite the oh-so-punishing nature of Aban Hawkins & the 1,000 Spikes, it's still one of my favorite games to grace the Xbox Live Indie Games channel. Against all odds, the title is being reworked for release on both the 3DS eShop and the Wii U with a little help from Nicalis.
Aban Hawkins & the 1,001 Spikes is an expanded version which reportedly features new graphics, art, music, sound, and four-person local multiplayer. Welp, I'll be double dipping. The game will be out first on the eShop this year, followed by the Wii U release potentially around the time that platform launches.
Awesome news all around. Now let's make this a success so Nicalis picks up The Tempura of the Dead.
