Not that I dislike GTA mind you, But the only way i'll be excited for GTA IV Is after that Trailer comfirms that this game will rock the living fuck out of the Sandbox game landscape

Which it will, they arent calling GTA IV for nothing.

I don't dislike GTA, but IMHO, they'd do well to ripoff crackdown's idea of 'leveling skills'. Granted, it could turn into some cruddy grind of doom, but they didn't do too badly in san andreas...

Then again, the hype might just ruin it and mean the game will never live up to anyone's expectations.

I'm excited, I've been waiting forever to finally see something from this game.

Thats a pretty sweet roman numeral four alright. I don't know if it's sweet enough to make make me buy the game but if they put a really big 4 at the beginning and end of this trailer to come then I'll probably watch it.

The better make it look nice and add some new features, I actually only liked GTA3 the other 2 after sucked, grahphically they were lacking and what was done in 3 was done in the other 2, over and over and over and over.....

I hope their loss of exclusivity with Sony results in GTA4 for the PC in a shorter time than with the previous ones.

They were lacking graphically? Are you kidding? For the sheer number of things on screen, GTA San Andreas not only had good detail on the PS2, but it also had a gritty So-Cal look to it. GTA3 if anything was the most bland, but it also came before the other two. You have to consider the hardware it was running on, and the sheer amount of CPU demand all the different AI in the game needed.

I suppose, I just saw the games as being redundant and nothing new was applied to them that wasn't allready offered in the 1st version. I had fun with GTA3 and stopped and sold vice city as it seemed old to me......just my opinion!

@glg20decoy: that was the funniest thing i've read all day. thanks for the laugh. [:

you know i'm starting to think sony went on this intentional bad press news stint just to keep in the news. it's like a big puzzle is falling together. [:

Roman numerals... so it will take place in Rome? Maybe it'll take place in the past. You play as Brutus, jack chariots, throw rocks at peasants, and your final mission is to kill Julius Caesar...

Well, the rumor was that Rockstar Table Tennis was using GTA 4 tech, so you might have seen something already (sort of).

Cannot wait. I am interested to see what art style they use for the game. I just checked out the page for GTA: VCS. As great as San Andreas is Vice City is still my favorite entry in the series. Anyone else picking up VCS for the PS2? It's out next Tuesday the 6 th.

Aww Niero beat me to the Rocky bit.

I really wonder where will they be setting the GTA IV story? They've already had, and please correct me if I'm wrong, east (GTA3), south (GTAVC), west (GTASA). Hmmm....

All I care about at this point is multiplayer. Co-op or something. Oh and better physics. Anything more than a "expansion pack."

Come on REAL sequel for once! Seriously, if Rockstar doesn't add multiplayer.. Then they're pretty much retarded.

Are some of you seriously surprised about the roman numerals? Perhaps you've forgot about this??:

I want to see GTA: 1910. Being able to jack a Model T would be so sweet. Seriously, doing drive-bys and running over hookers in that shit would be awesome. I'm only 9/10 kidding.
