A Valley Without Wind now a sidescroller, still unique!

When we last looked at A Valley Without Wind, it was a strange looking top-down exploration game. With the latest video, it's had a change of perspective, becoming a strange looking sidescrolling exploration game.

The game seems to be looking all the better for it, too. While character animation could still use work, the game overall appears far more stimulating than it previously did.

The game is still in the very early stages, so yet more dramatic changes could occur. For now, I'm going to keep my eye on it, because it really does look intriguing.

Review: Gunman Clive 2

I don't think anyone, including the game's creator, expected Gunman Clive to be such a massive hit. As an homage to retro platformers it was a joy to play, and the ridiculously cheap base price made it easy to take the plunge. Gunman Clive 2 delivers pretty much everything you'd want out of a sequel, even if it doesn't push the envelope.more
