In theory, Eat Led: The Return of Matt Hazard was my kind of game. I love good self-referential humor and inside jokes in my videogames, but only if the gameplay is executed well. Half-Minute Hero? Fantastic on both accounts. Eat Led? Ehh, not so much.
That's why I have some faith in the upcoming PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade game Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond -- even if the game plays poorly, as a side-scrolling shooter, it'll still be better off than Eat Led was in a massive sea of generic first- and third-person shooters.
Very cautious optimism will be my train of thought when talking about Blood Bath & Beyond, since this newest trailer is mostly live-action and only a fraction of the video is the actual game. Also, what was shown didn't look particularly promising.

When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

This looks like it could be really good. Hell, I don't know how they can cock up a sidescrolling shooter that much. They'd have to be TRYING to make it shit.
There was an ad. So I didn't watch it. In this fast paced world of instant media. I no longer have any patience. I want things to appear NOW! Instantly!
The Matt Hazard series is such a good idea. Parodying the state of FPS, side scrollers and older games in general. It was a shame the first game was executed so poorly. I also fear it will be a game based on 'lol random!' humour.
'Okay go kill the mounties with chainsaws to retrieve the mystic canada juice! hahaha! isnt that funny?'
Anyway, I enjoyed Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard. Believe it or not, it's totally possible to enjoy a game that scores less than 92 on Metacritic.
First one was good. Wonder why they went for the M rating? Dirtier jokes? The fact Eat Lead was a PG-13 joke game actually made it somewhat better. "Yippie kie-aye mother...oh wait, can't say that."
Well...we'll see.
Well, I liked the first Eat Lead. It's very true that the controls, textures and other regular issues that we use to watch carefully where a little mediocre. But for sure it was a lot of fun, a must-play for the grown gamer.
I loved Eat Lead, and honestly can't see why people complained about it. It was generic, but that was the whole POINT. This game looks equally fantastic, I can't wait to play it.
Very interesting article. Content has been written in very nice manner. I enjoy reading this kind of stuff. Thanks for sharing good knowledge.

Sure why not.
This title is completely unoriginal.
Eat Led was the 3rd person shooter version of Matt Hazard that came out for PS3 and 360 a few months ago.
No, Eat Lead was the Matt Hazard game. Eat Led is apparently some kind of Robert Plant cannibalism simulator.

Dammit, I lol'd.
Hopefully this game will be better than Eat Lead. That game had so much potential...
Well...we'll see.
