We previously told you that a Kane & Lynch comic book was on the way. All well and good, especially considering the flawed-but-interesting nature of K&L, but now we have something even better: a couple of pages from the debut issue, in addition to some gorgeous cover art.
This series is being written by Ian Edginton, with Chris Mitten handling the art. The covers are coming to us from Ben Templesmith, who continues to impress as always.
Kane & Lynch #1 goes on sale August 4, and as with many of these game-to-comic adaptations, this one seems worth looking into if you want more fiction to go alongside what's available in the games. Generally speaking, there's always room for more.

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
The inside art look light-years better.

He really does, Hugo Weaving would be such a better choice. Ah well its just as well he not get involved in a movie that's probably gonna blow.
It seems 4 out of 5 times at the "Searching for game" screen it will completely freeze up my PS3 requiring a hard reboot. The main problem is when you actually get into a game, and if you're lucky enough to have a decent host so that it doesn't LAG TO FUCK, it's fan-fucking-tastic!
I LOVED fragile alliance in the original and this one seems so much better (also cannot get enough of the youtubeish art style!) but it's such a pain to get into a game on this borked demo!
It wouldn't be so bad if it was rubbish, I'd just delete it, but it's so good when it works that i just keep trying over and over and rebooting over and over until i get into a game, even at that point there is a 50/50 chance that the AI cops will flick around the screen taking bullets for ages then dying a while later in another part of the map.
I really really want this game to work and i may even pick it up just for the single player, but I oh so want some of this Fragile Alliance in my life, but a working version, preferably with some host migration.
I tried downloading the demo on PC and it doesn't even start. I just get to the part where Lynch is on the phone and the game crashes to the desktop, and thats AFTER messing around with DLL files to even get the game past the initial credit rolls.
It's a shame really, the game looked pretty good.
