A piece of wood jammed between bricks photo

In the middle of a perfectly normal succession of bricks and mortar there appears to be a piece of wood running inside the wall! One theory: the designer must have decided that it would give the effect of a floor board without dramatically altering the wall materials, thereby giving it a natural look that also complements the bleech flooring. While it does work, this treatment can create a small crevice that may cause insulation and insect problems, so I'm not sure how they will solve that one. Also pictured is this guy's insane Xbox 360 Half-Life 2 mod.

That sure is one ugly wall. Maybe if that sweet looking 360 weren't in the way, the wall's full beauty could come out. Or maybe there'd just be some more ugly wall.

We may never know. Also, is that filth or just dents in the flooring?

After analyzing all three photos, I have condluded that they are dents, or more precisely scratches, that ail this floor. But where did those scratches come from?

I dunno, I like the brick and mortar wall. It looks pretty good, like a classic type of look.

Too bad half life 2 for xbox 360 is vaporware because I would really like to get to play it sometime, if valve could be troubled to release it. P.S. I know it was delayed due to the episode 2 delay.

I like brick and mortar walls as well...generally. But this is not a good example. The wood board in there coupled with the cheap molding on the bottom just scream ghetto. Plus, for a good brick wall you want the amount of mortar used to be uniform between all the bricks. This is just a sloppy job. Some of those bricks have seen better days as well.

Nobody has anything to say about the case or half life 2 or the xbox 360? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a brick wall as much as the next guy but this is a gamers website.

Well, look at the post title. It is about the bricks. That is a sweet looking 360. I really like the window side of it, with the HL2 symbol over the DVD drive.

Oh, hey, there's an Xbox 360 in front of that strangely modded brick wall. Weird.

Can someone crop that rad 360 out of the image? I can't fully appreciate the wall with it distracting me like that.

It's a good style of wall but it can be too much at times, too bad that video game system is in the way, if you see the whole wall you would see what I am talking about

I second that Juano.... Just disable gif files... done

I loved the avatar on the comments idea right up until I saw the animated ones popping up.

And Husky Hog, at least adhere to the size limits...

Man! I love that case-mod... I would spend big bucks on something like that. I actually really like the wall too. It's "artsy."
