I'll come clean and admit it: I don't usually like Penny Arcade comics. I think their art style is cool, but many times the humor just isn't there for me. However, there are some real gems that come and pass by my eyes from time to time. This one in particular had me laughing out loud like a crazed mad man.
For those of us with a PlayStation 3 and who have had to deal with the idiotic extra steps of the PlayStation Store, then this thing hits you right at the funny bone -- hehe, I said bone.

the only part of that transaction that really annoys is the whole "add money to wallet, take money from wallet" part... illustrated in the 2nd panel

Penny Arcade is funny stuff...but buying from the PS Store isn't quite THAT bad.
Sorry to disappoint some of you but none of the consoles are perfect folks, including the Wii some of you dryhump at night.:shock:
You guys sure dogpiled enough back on the GC and the N64.
And then there's GameFAQ's. Don't get me started there. The PS3's getting wet-noodled by Nintendo fanboys compared to all the inane conversations held over the N64 vs PSX.
Last gen, if anything I became a hell of a lot more tolerant, simply because I OWNED all three consoles at one point or another. Sony's getting shit this round from me because they're doing it to themselves. Maybe you missed the little brouhaha yesterday, but Sony took the ONLY good news they'd had in a year and shit on it like a gas station toilet. Only to reverse their position earlier 'cause it would make them seem less douche-y.
Please don't lump me in with any fanboi-ism. I'm merely trying to point out none of the consoles are perfect, Wii included.
I own a N64 and PSX. My original NES and SNES still work. I bought the Gamecube. My PS2 and Xbox lived in harmony, as do my 360 and PS3.
I won't disagree that Sony has shat upon themselves and their console but some comments from Nut-tendos are so foolish, especially considering the impending game drought and the inherent imperfections in the Wii.
I like Perry Bible Fellowship and the occasional VGCats, myself.
People may think this is some sort of weakness or poor writing, but if you compare Penny Arcade's style more to political cartoons than to the "funnies" you'll probably see more what I'm getting at.
