Every time I see that there is a new set of No More Heroes 2 videos on the internet, I expect to be let down. So far, that hasn't happened. Though this latest set of videos doesn't have a whole lot of new info, there is a flash of a new character, and even more flashes of panties and underboob. It should seem tacky, but the overarching creepy, fun filled, surrealist atmosphere that permeates each video manages to keeps things classy.
OK, maybe not classy, but at least no less tacky than Audrey Hepburn's no-pants scene in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
It's also encouraging to hear IGN's Mark Bozon give the game such glowing praise, particularly its 8-bit jobs, cat exercises, cute 'em up, and clothes shopping. Four hours in, and Mark's spent so much time with the game's side activities that he's only bothered to beat two of the its (rumored) fifty bosses. This is coming from a guy who didn't really like the original No More Heroes. I am very jealous of Mark Bozon right now.
Two more videos await you after the jump. I suggest you watch them all on the "Hi" setting.

This is sold 100% but I don't know if I want to pick it up right away like the last one for $49 (CDN) or wait a month or two as the 1st game dropped in price faster than a game that drops price like REALLY fast! She's in bargain bins everywhere.
@ Xzyliac- Or you could get it used for $10-$15 bucks. And you get all the Wii remote-omly features, like wanking and cel phone calls.
I'm going to get the HD version too, but the Wii version will likely remain the definitive version for me.
@ Mix- From what I know, NMH2 is a game you'll want to buy ASAP. Reading about the game, even accidentally, may spoil a lot of stuff for you. I'm also not so confident that this one will price drop as quickly. If the half-million or so people who bought the first game (and many more if you add used games sales) enjoyed it, they're likely to buy the sequel as well.
I want this so bad. Seriously, it's probably my most anticipated game of this year, as of now. But that's probably because I've been playing NMH for the first time this month and it's bloody awesome.
First off I admit I did say it very aggressively and I honestly do feel bad about it now, my apologies to you Jonathan, and yes I forgot the apostrophe in "it's", but I am not a professional journalist who got another journalist's name wrong. I am a commenter in a comments section. Its not my duty to use completely correct prose in my comments.
I can see why Jonathan made the error, he's having to write multiple articles to report on a bunch of different things which is both stressful and not time-friendly, but COME ON. Just proofreading it ONCE he would have seen that he got the name wrong THREE times. Of course, he could have simply been tired or w/e and saw the name and thought nothing unusual of it.
Anyway I'm sorry I was a dick about it, but why should people have to point this kind of stuff out to the person who is supposed to be informing us about something. At that point I'm helping him do his work and I shouldn't have to.
You don't appear to be very good at apologizing. Saying you're sorry and then rehashing the same whiny complaints in the next sentence is pretty anal, esp. after the mistakes were corrected. Matt Bozon is Mark's brother, it's a very easy mistake to make for anyone in the games industry. If you're going to call people out—journalists or otherwise—for not proof-reading well enough, you should at least know the difference between "its" and "it's."
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

We'll see.
Oh and NMH2 is going to be sooooooooo good.
Anyway, typos corrected. Thanks for the help, although you didn't have to be such a dick about it.
If you're going to comment about spelling errors and the like, you may want to add apostrophes in both instances of the word "it's" next time.
Come on... Haven't you ever heard of proofreading?

People make mistakes, even at their job. But thanks for apologizing (especially if you are secretly Mark Bozon).

P.S. f*ck IGN and their f*cking videos re-directing you to their site afterwards!
