How desperate does Microsoft think we are to play anything Halo on Steam? We'll see if the company's decision to bring Halo: Spartan Assaultto the platform next week pays off, I suppose. This overhead dual-stick shooter will be out on PC next Friday, April 4 for $4.99.
As nice as it would be to see other (read: proper) Halo titles arrive on PC even all these years later, I have a difficult time seeing that happen. Microsoft's been weird about PC gaming lately.
If you actually like the look of Spartan Assault, it'll be reduced in price to $1.99 on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 from April 3 - 9, after which point it will increase to $4.99 to match Steam's price.
