It's Activision. They priced Map packs at $15. $70 is actually cheap coming from Activision.

i'd pay $70 for that controller if it came with the game and an eighth of og cush. then maybe i wouldn't mind that its not a remake of the original goldeneye, but a re-boot with the same name. im really only interested in goldeneye if it directly stimulates my nostalgia zone, ie. same game, better graphics, online mp. how sweet it would be.

this game would of done better on XBLA and PSN, since most of its audience probably move to those systems anyway.

I won't touch the game by itself, let alone a $70 piece of worthless plastic.

Also I would get it, if it were worth its weight in actual gold.

It would make sense that there would be bundles: 1 with the golden CCPro + game and 1 with the Klobb peripheral + game, buyer's choice!

I also read that due to complaints about using Nunchuk style for FPS, that's why the Classic Controller (+PRO) have been implemented for the game.

Sucks for them that I was never a huge golden eye fan, the game was OK but it wasn't all that.... I preferred OpenGL quake with TeamFortress with 32 players to its 4 player non GL split screen action.

Seriously not worth a $70 investment for a controller housing .... unless possibly its bundled with an actual Wii controller and nunchuck.

For $70 the controller should also be a shoe.

$70 isn't that surprising, really. I mean, normal PS3 controllers are $55, and you've gotta expect to pay a little more for the glam factor.

24K? If the Gun came with a Wii remote and nunchuck it would be worth 70 to me. If the Gold Controller came with the game it would be worth it as well. But if they do not it is just another example that Activision has lost their fucking minds. 30 dollars for 6 new maps (half the price of the full fucking game!) was the first sign they were losing it.

I want that classic pad for $20. It looks a lot less like a classic controller in a shell than the white version for some reason. Would not pay higher.
The gun? Do not care, but if it is sold separately, it'd sell well at $20 and probably not so well at $30.

If it was made out of real, die-cast heavy gun-metal, and it had extremely good vibration and kick-back like Time Crisis in the arcades, I would consider buying it for $70. Otherwise, no.

If they have any sense then it'll be an N64 controller for the Wii. Guaranteed to make the old school fan-boys pay $70, its the only way they'll make any money out of an old game port that's for sure!
