A Crack in Time too big for one demo, will get two photo

Apparently, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time (one of my "must have" titles this fall) won't just be getting a downloadable demo... it will be getting two!

In the latest episode of Insomniac's Full Moon podcast, community manager James Stevenson dropped the bomb. The developer had original intended to release one demo with two parts -- Ratchet gameplay and Clank gameplay. The problem is that it was simply too much to cram into one download, so each of the buggers will get their own demo.

With the game out on October 27, we should see the demo a few weeks prior. My suggestion to Insomniac is to also release a third demo featuring A Crack in Time's space gameplay. That's a good idea, right guys?

Would have been awesome if he told us when too.

Good luck on that exam.

If they had announced dates for the demos, I certainly would have told you when they were coming out. But they didn't, so I can't.

Nice! I'm a little worried about all the "Clank gameplay" that is supposed to be in the game because I generally far prefer playing as Ratchet, so it will be nice to try out the Clank part as well.

I'll still be getting the game either way, but may wait and get it later rather than sooner because of other planned game purchases, so the two demos should serve to whet my appetite.

Can't wait to try the Clank gameplay. They might "rival Portals creativity" but if I don't get half a game or more with Clank on Ratchet's back I will be pissed, the beginning to Up Your Arsenal and all of Quest for Booty is too much time without the jet-pack.

This game is going to rock out loud!
Most games only get 1 demo but 2 for ACIT!
YES! I've had it on pre-order for a couple of months now.
The demos generally come out on Thursday so if not next week then the week after that. Because it's only a little over 3 weeks til you can buy it in the store!
I don't think we will get half a game with Clank on Ratchets back. But I would like to see that as well.
