This game just keeps looking awesomer and awesomer. I'm glad it seemingly takes on the real horrors of war, like the stabbing in the video. I just hope the game isn't trying to do too much with the controls, I like what I've seen about the story and most of the gameplay.

@falsenipple - I believe he hijacks that mech and has to kill the crew once he enters it. Seems pretty necessary to me as I doubt the enemy pilot is just going to be like "Oh, you want this mech? Alrighty, have fun!"
This looks sexcellent. I have a mad respect for FromSoftware after 1000/1000-ing Dark Souls and always wanted to give the original Steel Battalion a legit try. May have to check this out and give my Kinect an actual reason to exist atop my HDTV.

Maybe that wasn't stabbing we saw. You only see the arm pulling a sharp piece of metal out of a man's torso. Maybe that was shrapnel from an explosion?
I want this game but I don't want KINECT, I really don't. Damnit, it looks so good, brutal and grounded.
faaaak... this is both the first game to actually make kinect look good, AND make me want one.... but I dunno... hopefully they do a package deal with the sensor....
First they gave us Dark Souls then they give us Armored Core 5 and now they give us this all in the space of less than a year. The only bad part is the wait until From's next spurt of awesome.

@raccoonsfury don't write this off because it uses kinect you still move and shoot with a controller the kinect does loads of other stuff that just makes it more awesome without kinect this would not be as appealing to me.

It looks like the player punches that soldier before we see him pull that metal spike out of him, so I think its likely that the player is responsible for putting it in him in the first place. Plus taking a penetrating object out is almost as bad as putting one in, so either this guy is an enemy or the player is really bad at field medicine.
Clearly I'm missing something - Whatever section that was being demo'ed at PAX looked like a trainwreck.

i think this game might be trying to do too much to be the next COD, but if it succeeds even half way, i will purchase it.
