What? YES!
According to Team 17's Martyn Brown, a brand new Worms game is coming to Steam, and the best part is that it'll be a real one, not one of those 3D abominations that I hate because I'm scared of new things. The murderous Oligochaeta are returning in a new game called Worms Reloaded.
We have no further details than this, but more details are promised soon. By the sounds of the title, I'd venture a guess at this being a full series reboot, with a back-to-basics approach. Perhaps a remake of the original? Whatever it is, I hope it'll be good. I've always got a little time for Worms!

Even if its just a graphical overhaul, Just something to make it feel like I've bought a new game rather than just another expansion.
Make a cross between Worms 2 (every aspect of every weapon was customizable, and there was no stupid unlocking stuff through missions, a TON of different terrain types with importing of your own images and such to convert into maps) and Worms Armageddon (had the best weapon sets, maybe a little TOO much, but definitely still the best out of all the Worms games). Throw in the stationary turret from the recent Xbox Live Arcade version (the confusingly titled Worms 2: Armageddon)
There. You've got yourself the best and last Worms game you'll ever need.
