Destructoid.com is three years old today, and this special anniversary also marks the birthday of its founder, as well as the man I've been proud to call "boss" for the past two years of my life, Yanier "Niero" Gonzalez. Rarely does a man come along that has the power to alter the lives of everyone he meets, but Niero is one of those people, and he leaves just a few barely noticeable scars.
I've been wracking my brains for a way to pay tribute to Niero and the company that altered the course of my life, but I just couldn't do it. I don't know how to thank my boss, a man without whom my life would be far, far worse. So instead, I reached out to someone who has been touched by Niero in ways more amazing than even myself. I reached out to a lifelong friend of Destructoid, Sonic the Hedgehog.
