Kiefer Sutherland is Snake in Metal Gear Solid V photo
Kiefer Sutherland is Snake in Metal Gear Solid V
by Chris Carter

The voice of Snake for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been revealed today -- it's non other than Jack Bauer himself -- Kiefer Sutherland. Kojima stated during Konami's press conference that the year is 1984, and since Snake is 49 years old, they need an older voice for the role.

Kojima states that he's the "perfect fit with age and performance." Sutherland has worked in games before, including Call of Duty: World at War and Street Fighter X Tekken. Honestly, I'm okay with this, as I think he could bring a lot to the role. Besides, it's not like Hayter ever can't come back, right?

Zone of the Enders HD frame rate patch coming to PS3

Free Revengeance VR missions will be available next week photo
Free Revengeance VR missions will be available next week
by Brett Zeidler

Remember that promise to PlayStation 3 players of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance that they would receive exclusive VR missions as downloadable content? And no, not that other DLC that was announced.

Well, starting next Tuesday, March 12, they will be available to you as a free download all the way through April 3. Featuring the look of the original VR missions from Metal Gear Solid (read that again, seriously), the pack will include 30 brand-new missions that feature unique challenges. Maybe you'll need some tips to make sure your skills are up to par?

Oh, if you've yet to pick up the game, you can now buy the game on PlayStation Network for $59.99. If that's your thing, of course. Anyway, I'm assuming there's nothing stopping me from just jumping on PSN and downloading this myself next week, you know,  just in case I do ever pick it up on PS3. If I can't, I'm pretty sure this will be coming to Xbox at some point anyway as a paid download. That's how these types of things usually go these days.

Why is Kojima tweeting about Zone of the Enders 3DS?

Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima is a feisty little minx. It wasn't that long ago that he tweeted something weird about Snatcher, and a few months later, we got a screengrab of a Snatcher 2 logo (which hasn't amounted to anyth...
