Here are some more Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions screens

We have already seen a little bit of the "full 3D action" of Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, and it looks like those lucky attendees of PAX Prime can get some hands-on time with it this weekend. Stupid lucky jerks who I love hav...

Dying Light has a sweet slide move

So I still need to actually play Vanquish in full, but that rocket knee slide? Good stuff. Dying Light's slide is not so cool, but with enough forward momentum, you could get a decent slide going.  I am only still ...

Costume Quest 2 is still cute, trying to be more engaging photo
Costume Quest 2 is still cute, trying to be more engaging
by Steven Hansen

Costume Quest, like every Double Fine game, is charming. It's a fresh-feeling, low stakes take on the JRPG genre, more Earthbound than Final Fantasy. Though, as Chad put it in his review, it's "RPG Lite," accessible for all ages.

Double Fine doesn't want to sacrifice that, but does want to make Costume Quest 2's combat a bit more engaging. I was engaged with Paper Mario (or Final Fantasy VIII) style timed button presses that help your attacks do a bit more damage. Similarly, a well timed tap on defense will reduce the damage you take. This engagement, though, make things a bit easier so long as you can hit those button presses.

See everything exclusive to PlayStation for Destiny in one video

Although the "default" is to get mad at Microsoft for locking down exclusives, Sony has one in the pocket for Destiny. It involves a small amount of content, but content nonetheless, and you can get a full look of what to ex...

September Games with Gold: Super Time Force, Halo: Reach, and Monaco photo
September Games with Gold: Super Time Force, Halo: Reach, and Monaco
by Jordan Devore

Next month's Games with Gold lineup is among the service's best yet.

Xbox 360 owners who are subscribed to Xbox Live Gold can nab Monaco: What's Yours is Mine for free from September 1 - 15, followed by Halo: Reach from September 16 - 30, while Xbox One owners will have all of September to download Super Time Force.

Shame about the Xbox 360 version of Super Time Force not being included here, but if you're thinking of playing it there I'd recommend going for the Ultra PC release instead.

Review: Dark Souls II: The Crown of the Old Iron King photo
Review: Dark Souls II: The Crown of the Old Iron King
by Chris Carter

While Dark Souls II brought me back to that special place that I found with Demon's Souls in many ways, the first DLC pack, Crown of the Sunken King, didn't go far enough with its concepts.

It's really hard to give us a worthwhile add-on with Artorias of the Abyss looming over it, but the second pack, Crown of the Old Iron King, does a much better job of distilling the Souls experience.

BioWare: 'We will support Dragon Age: Inquisition's multiplayer far beyond Mass Effect 3'

I enjoyed Dragon Age: Inquisition's multiplayer more than I thought
by Chris Carter

There have been rumors of a multiplayer component in Dragon Age: Inquisition for quite a while. BioWare has been keeping things under wraps for months after a small hint of its inclusion, and speculation was rampant as to what exactly it might entail.

After a recent visit to BioWare's offices I had a chance to sit down with the multiplayer extensively, and I found myself slowly becoming addicted as the afternoon went on. In fact, I liked it far more than Mass Effect 3's co-op mode -- so I have high hopes for Inquisition.

People really like looking at porn on their PS3s

I'm not sure why you'd prefer using a console to look at porn over a PC or your phone if either are handy, considering the frustrating browser mechanics on many of them and the way ads like to display, but people like to do i...
