Dr. Luigi, Hyrule Warriors, NES Remix & Kingdom Come photo
Dr. Luigi, Hyrule Warriors, NES Remix & Kingdom Come
by Max Scoville

Hey gang! Sorry I wasn't around on Tuesday, but there wasn't a whole lot of news -- so here's a rundown of today's big news, including yesterday's big ol' Nintendo Direct, that new realistic medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and the Xbox One's upcoming documentary series on the E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Atari 2600 game. No, seriously.

by Max Scoville

Hey gang! Here's your Destructoid news update for this Thursday. I dabbled in some non-gaming news, I hope you don't mind. There are a lot more exciting movie trailers this week than there are game trailers.

The news: Fallout 4 details leak, Elder Scrolls Online gets a release date, SOMA looks creepy, The Walking Dead Season 2 gets a trailer, Call of Duty: Ghosts gets wolf DLC, and there are trailers for Edge of Tomorrow and Jupiter Ascending, both of which look interesting. There are rumors about Jason "Khal Drogo" Momoa being cast in Zak Snyder's Batman Vs. Superman movie, and Christopher Nolan's Interstellar gets a website and a logo.

Hey gang! Here's today's Dtoid Show news-snack. I round-up some of the trailers and news to come out of the VGX abomination this weekend, as well as the rumored Alien: Isolation, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes' release date, and Doom's 20th birthday.

Which Console watches more Porn, BF4 Fixes & FFVIII Hair photo
Which Console watches more Porn, BF4 Fixes & FFVIII Hair
by Max Scoville

Hey hey! This video was supposed to go up yesterday afternoon, but a series of unfortunate events resulted in it going up very late last night, and then internet witchcraft prevented me from putting up a post. So, if you don't mind a little reheated day-old news, here ya go. CUT ME SOME SLACK I'M DOING THIS ALL ON MY OWN.

We got an amazing exclusive scoop thanks to Pornhub, EA has told DICE to fix Battlefield 4 before making any new DLC, cops busted up a dude's World of Warcraft livestream after a phony tip, Riot Games' contracts with eSports iJocks apparently prevent them from streaming Fat Princess and Final Fantasy VIII is now on Steam.

More Fallout 4 Clues, Microsoft Threshold & Cranky Kong

Hey guys! Here's another newsy-type update, which I hope can become a regular thing. It's not quite the Destructoid show you're used to, but you can see we've made some progress. I swear to god, Destructoid has been cursed by...

John Carmack, Fulgore, Crash Bandicoot, and Tomb Raider 2

[Note: YouTube's still processing the trimmed video. The show actually starts at the 20:10 mark] Hey everybody! If you missed it, Spencer and I went live earlier this afternoon with a very low-key, laid back episode of The D...

The Destructoid Show's Glorious, Bumbling Return

Hey gang! Well, the plan was to do a big proper episode of The Destructoid Show, live, at 3:30 on the dot. However, things didn't go quite according to plan. After an hour of technical difficulties, we managed to go live. It...

The Destructoid Show: The Next Generation photo
The Destructoid Show: The Next Generation
by Max Scoville

Well, well. Look who's come crawling back. ME.

If you guys have been keeping track, The Destructoid Show came to an end two months ago, and I announced my departure from Revision3 about one month ago. And today, in an effort to further confuse my extended family who were never entirely sure what my job was to begin with, I'm proud to announce that I am back with Destructoid, full-time, as their head warlock of video-related crap -- which will include, in some form, a resurrection of the Destructoid Show.

To kick this off, please join me this Friday at 3:30 PM Pacific time (-8:00 GMT) on YouTube for a LIVE Destructoid Show. Y'know, for old time's sake.

The Destructoid Show's Final Episode photo
The Destructoid Show's Final Episode
by Max Scoville

Well, guys. This is it. The final episode. Tara and I run down a whole bunch of our favorite moments from hosting this insane show.

I've been involved in this site for a bit over three years, and it's been nothing short of life-changing. Thank you guys so much for watching our show, and even if you didn't watch it, thanks for being a part of such an amazing community. Tara and I might be gone from Destructoid, but we'll still be doing plenty of video stuff on Rev3Games, so come say hello. And, of course, The Dtoid YouTube channel is still alive and well, as I'm sure you guys are all well aware.

Once again, thank you. Thank you to Niero and company for giving us a chance to do something so cool, which has somehow turned into a full-blown career path, and thanks to all of you guys who supported us along the way. I'm pretty good at puns and bad jokes, but effectively conveying how grateful I am for where this amazing video game website has taken me is a bit beyond my grasp. In a nutshell: I love you all more than pizza.

I have to go now, my planet needs me. (Also, I'm probably gonna start crying.)

Unleash the Dogs of War! And Some New PS Vitas, too! photo
Unleash the Dogs of War! And Some New PS Vitas, too!
by Max Scoville

Here's today's Destructoid Show -- sort of an odd one, since it's the last time we'll be reading the news to you. Of course, we'll have a big huge send-off episode on Friday, but this is the last we'll be doing a standard news show. Thankfully, we actually have some news to discuss.

For starters, Sony announced some cute little PS Vita slims, as well as PS Vita TV, which seems like an odd device. The guys who made Far Cry 3 have decided to make something that's the opposite of Far Cry 3, which apparently is a whimsical JRPG called Child of Light. The new Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer has a dog biting a guy in a helicopter, so I shout about it a bunch. Not to be out-dogged by Activision, Ubisoft also has a war game with a dog in it, called Valiant Hearts: The Great War, but it's all artsy and emotional.

MGS V's New Mechanics, PS4's VR, & Xbox's Release Date

Hey gang! Here's today's very somber Destructoid Show. A serious one. With no jokes. (I'm just kidding, there are jokes.) The Xbox One finally has a release date, but don't worry, because the Xbox 360 still has a few more ye...

Homeworld, Dragon Age, Mighty No. 9, and some sad news photo
Homeworld, Dragon Age, Mighty No. 9, and some sad news
by Max Scoville

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I hope you're all safe and sound following PAX 2013! I got to drunkenly shout moist pleasantries in the vicinity of a bunch of you, and that was absolutely lovely. For those of you who missed it, you have my deepest sympathies.

Today on the show, we discuss Dragon Age: Inquisition, and how it looks incredible, how Gearbox is turning Hardware: Shipbreakers into Homeworld: Shipbreakers, and has two brand new IPs in the works. The Xbox One supports up to eight controllers, the Xbox Live Marketplace has been renamed, and Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune has absolutely wrecked shop with the Kickstarter for his new game, Mighty No. 9. There's a new Grand Theft Auto V trailer... and then some other announcements.

The exciting news: Niero and company have announced Destructoid HUGE, a premium membership program for the site, which will give members ad-free site access, discounts on merch, automatic contest entry, exclusive content, and more, for a measly $2.99 a month, or $29.99 a year. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and considering how much Destructoid rules for free, just imagine how cool it'll be when there's money rolling in. It's only a matter of time until there's a whole portal full of exlusive Jonathan Holmes sexy muscleman pin-ups.

The sad news: The Destructoid Show is coming to an end. Tara and I will continue to crank out stuff full-time over on Rev3Games, but we're parting ways with our beloved red-eyed robot overlord Mr. Destructoid.

Destructoid's founder, and the man who got me my start in this kickass industry wrote up his thoughts, which you can read after the break.

The DTOID Show: GTA V, TES Online, & Goodbye MS Points!
by Tara Long

Greetings, internet citizens! Max was out of the office today, so I grabbed Techfeed's Scott Bromley (and fellow host of The Comedy Button) to chat with me about GTA V's Collector's Edition, the rumored-but-not-yet-announced Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition, the phasing out of MS Points, and whether or not you'll be required to use magic in The Elder Scrolls Online. We've also got details on the must-see panels and parties of PAX Prime 2013, so if you plan on attending this year - listen up!

Grand Theft Yoga, Destiny's Sunsets & Elder Subscriptions
by Max Scoville

Hey gang! Here's that darn Destructoid Show again! Hooray!

The news: Steve Ballmer's gonna retire from Microsoft, Elder Scrolls Online has a subscription fee as well as a cash shop, there's some talk about exchanging your current-gen games for next-gen ones, Destiny is very pretty, a whole bunch of games just got release dates, and Grand Theft Auto V was clearly made by perverted teenage boys who have just no respect for Yoga. Hmph.
