Super Meat Boy's second boss is an adorable nightmare

When I first saw the World 1 boss of Super Meat Boy, I just assumed that the game would have you to going up against one of Dr. Fetus's giant machines on a semi-regular basis. That's how Dr Wily and Dr Robotnik roll, so why w...

Guitar Hero 6 set list possibly leaked, no surprises

When it come to Guitar Hero 6 I don't think most of the people picking it up are going to be trying to find a revolutionary new title that shakes things up. Rather, they want more of the same gameplay that has stayed with the...

'Splosion Man's theme song now up on Rock Band Network

It's wild stuff like this that has me craving Rock Band Network so desperately. The theme song to Twisted Pixel's 'Splosion Man has been authored for RBN, which means we may potentially see it as a playable song in Rock Band ...

Tim Schafer talks Brutal Legend on Late Night

I don't watch Late Night at all, so far be it from me to pass judgment on the quality of the show, but if this is how Fallon runs all his interviews it has to be the most awkward show in the world. When Tim Schafer is on your...

EA Denmark lets Brutal Legend soundtrack slip (Update)

I don't know if the soundtrack for a game has every truly been "hotly anticipated," but if one had to choose the most "hotly anticipated" soundtrack to a game ever it might just be Brütal Legend's as ...

Gorillaz, Janis Joplin and more come to Rock Band

I haven't been excited for any of the recent Rock Band DLC, but today's announcement pretty much turns that around 180 degrees. August 11th, a Gorillaz three pack will come to Rock Band featuring "Clint Eastwood", &...

Just a scant few posts down we brought you all some unfortunate Brütal Legend news. You probably read it and felt your ability to head bang for five minutes straight slowly seep away. Fear not! We bring head banging reju...

More troubles for Brutal Legend

Bear with me here; my metal knowledge begins and ends with the word "metal." So Ronnie James Dio was going to be in Brütal Legend, since he's a metal legend and all and the game is about metal music. Also a met...

Alice Cooper tracks to appear in Rock Band next week! photo
Alice Cooper tracks to appear in Rock Band next week!
by Conrad Zimmerman

The pioneer of shock rock is finally coming to Rock Band. In the Rock Band community mailer today, Harmonix announced a ton of awesome Alice Cooper content that will be dropping into the Rock Band store next week! SQUEEEE!

The collection will have live versions of classic Cooper tracks "I'm Eighteen," "Under My Wheels," "School's Out" (which he played at my fiance's graduation commencement just last night) and my all-time favorite "Billion Dollar Babies." Plus, they're throwing in his biggest hit since going solo, "Poison," and a track from his most recent album called, "Vengeance is Mine." F*ck yes.

There's also three tracks coming from Taking Back Sunday -- "Liar (It Takes One to Know One)," "Makedamnsure" and "What's it Feel Like to be a Ghost" -- but who cares? Alice Cooper is coming to Rock Band, damn it, and nothing else matters.

[Editor's Note -- I screwed up and said that "Raped and Freezing" was one of the songs coming. It is, in fact, "Under My Wheels." It still isn't "No More Mister Nice Guy" though, so some of you will remain disappointed. Sorry for any confusion.]
