We already knew that the Xbox One was going to have a patch on day one, so will the PlayStation 4. While the PlayStation 4 will let you start playing games while the patch downloads, the Xbox One will be useless. The guys ove...

PS4's day-one patch is 300 MB, adds several features

I'll want to go nuts with my shiny, angular new PS4 right out of the box, but it looks like we'll have to get the launch day 300 megabyte patch (ver 1.50) out of the way first as it enables several key features. If you want t...

Nintendo patches Pokemon X and Y, fixes massive bug photo
Nintendo patches Pokemon X and Y, fixes massive bug
by Chris Carter

A short while after Pokemon X and Y launched, players uncovered a pretty nasty bug -- if you save outside in Lumiose City, your game may freeze, and you might be unable to load up your save. In a title like Pokemon where hundreds of hours are easy to burn, this can be devastating.

Thankfully, Nintendo recognized the problem, and has applied a patch to rectify the issue. All you have to do is load up the 3DS eShop, go to the updates portion, and apply the patch. I've been steadily making my way through Pokemon Y over the past week and a half, and currently I have around 320 caught Pokemon in the Kalos region alone. How are you guys doing?

So with the General and Item changes out of the way, here they are, the Hero balance changes from the recent Dota 2 6.79 patch. Did you unlearn what you knew about gold, day/night, the jungle, and lane equilibrium? Good, now prepare to do the same for just about ALL THE HEROES.

Rogue Legacy for Linux and Mac 'very close' to done

Right before it released on Steam, I was mostly hopeful -- but still somewhat worried -- about whether or not Rogue Legacy would catch on, which I believed the game fully deserved. It has. And gosh, that makes me happy. ...
