Super Best Guide! BioShock Infinite

Happy Indie Pendants Day! Your ol' pal Jim Sterling is British, which means he has to hide indoors today, lest the Americans find and murder him. Fortunately, it's allowed me time to polish my ultimate guide to BioShock Infinite, the hot new game everybody's talking about.  Learn the best tactics, the most useful skills, and the weapons you'll need to blow Columbia up! What a lovely time.

Scarlet Blade might be the most shameless F2P game yet photo
Scarlet Blade might be the most shameless F2P game yet
by Conrad Zimmerman

I don't know who it is that's responsible for pointing me in the direction of this video (it just appeared, totally anonymously), but I'd like to thank them for helping me realize that I hadn't yet seen the absolute worst that free-to-play games have to offer yet.

Scarlet Blade is a fantasy adventure MMORPG which seems entirely focused on women with extra-sexualized, impractical clothing and further "enhancing" it with ludicrous physics as they pertain to breasts. And breasts are everywhere (which makes sense, as all player characters are female), even on people who appear to be far below the age at which one would even be capable of producing them. And, for $20, you can set those jubblies loose and "unlock" their lingerie -- which seems as though it's really more about making you pay money if you ever want to equip anything useful than any titillation, but that certainly shouldn't stop anyone from selling objectification as a commodity.

It's just gross. Cheers to Niichts over at YouTube for having the courage to play this so that I didn't have to.

Nicolas Cage is every Pokemon

Iwata claims that this is the Year of Luigi, but I'm starting to think it's the Year of Nicolas Cage. First came that Majora's Mask texture hack that slaps his mug on every surface imaginable, and now comes this new tumblr th...

Okay, here's the REALLY REAL Zelda timeline, for realsies

No one thought Nintendo would ever have the balls to reveal the Zelda timeline, but lo and behold. Does that finally answer all your questions? Ha! I didn't think so. That's why artist Zac Gorman decided to cut through the bu...

Minecraft's Endermen: The reason we don't go out at night

Look at those things. Actually, wait, don't! If you look directly at them in Minecraft, they'll come for you the second you look away; otherwise, they are totally passive. Also, teleportation -- these things can do that, beca...

Unreleased NES game Bio Force Ape is f#@king beast

The NES was no stranger to odd game concepts and designs. Many of these games never left Japan, while others never saw the light of day. So when I heard about Bio Force Ape, a canceled game in which you play a genetically alt...

Oh hey, it's the box art for Two Worlds II. And, if I'm not mistaken, the white-eyed creepy guy is posing with the girl for some unintentional hilarity. Also attached in the gallery is a nifty rebate form. Using said form, pr...

Spend the weekend popping balloons with BEES in Bloons 2 photo
Spend the weekend popping balloons with BEES in Bloons 2
by Jordan Devore

Bloons 2 is out, and it's decidedly more of the same awesome balloon-popping, madness-inducing fun that the original flash game was. About as simple a concept as you can get, but the execution is perfect.

Apparently the first game was played more than one billion times, which sounds about right. All that really needs to be said about Bloons 2 is that you get to directly control bees. BEES!

Don't click here if you are a known procrastinator.
