We're celebrating Sonic's 23rd birthday the only way we know how

It's Sonic's 23rd birthday, and we couldn't let his big day go by unnoticed. We wanted to celebrate by paying tribute to the legendary hedgehog. A really hot, steamy, sexy, erotic tribute. In case that last sentence wasn't indication enough, this post isn't exactly family friendly. So, not safe for work content to follow. You've been warned. Enjoy.

Corridor Digital blows up all the goats in this Far Cry 4 short

Best part of Far Cry 3? Hunting animals. Or stealth killing entire outposts. Actually -- freeing a caged tiger in an outpost and picking off survivors from a distance. Yeah, that's my favorite. From what we've seen of Far Cr...

Conan O'Brien visits E3 again this year, gets cozy with Project Morpheus photo
Conan O'Brien visits E3 again this year, gets cozy with Project Morpheus
by Chris Carter

Conan O'Brien has once again visited E3 to take a look at a selection of games, and addition to the jokes, you can also get a look at some gameplay that wasn't previously available. Conan checks out Sunset Overdrive, Entwined, Hyrule Warriors and a few others.

Although I don't like it as much as last year's (I don't think anything will beat him meeting Charles Martinet), it's still worth watching if you're a Conan fan.

The world's largest video game collection sells for $750k and I am extremely jealous

One of the most impressive game collections I've seen in some time was up for sale recently, and it sold for a whopping $750,250. That's over 11,000 games on systems from the Amiga to the WonderSwan. I'd list all the systems...

Another World is a classically freaky platformer that's coming to PS4

The surreal platformer Another World is making its way to PS4 next week, and I couldn't be more excited. The game's 20 years old, for crying out loud, and yet it's somehow found a spot on a next-gen console so that people can...

Reggie Fils-a-Mech returns to kick your ass

I've always found Nintendo to be endearing, but that feeling has grown stronger ever since the company started doing its Nintendo Direct presentations and silly skits like this. We first met Fils-a-Mech earlier this year and...

Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed strips to its skivvies for this E3 trailer

The zany and bizarre Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed is positively riddled with strange situations, most of which involving people losing their pants, shirts, and quite possible their minds. That's exactly why I want to...

You won't believe these Kirby pics that Dtoid drew, they will blow your mind and restore your faith in humanity

How's Destructoid wrapping up E3? Frantically cranking out previews from the press room? Hustling around the show floor to see as much as possible? We probably should be. Instead, we're drawing pictures of Kirby. Really really good pictures of Kirby.

This week at E3, Destructoid got the chance to sit down with Square Enix producer Ichiro Hazama and chat a bit about the bizarre Final Fantasy VII G-Bike minigame that's hitting the mobile platform soon. Speaking o...

After interviewing Square Enix producer Ichiro Hazama on Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call during E3 this week, we took a few minutes to talk about his other upcoming game, Final Fantasy VII G-Bike. While...

Final Fantasy VII's 'G Bike' minigame is getting a full mobile release

Whatever your opinion is on where Final Fantasy VII ranks in the franchise, you can't dispute its iconic status. With minigames ranging from gambling to VR fighting to snowboarding, odds are you remember a lot of different p...

That moment when Ubisoft was super awkward at E3

Two Ubisoft employees did push-ups on stage at the company's E3 showcase today during a demo for upcoming Xbox One exclusive Shape Up.  It was weird, but also fun. That's pretty much a Ubisoft presser in a nutshell, isn't it?  We knew the French publisher's conference had the potential to be bizarre, awkward, or hilarious; but it truly surpassed expectations this year.
