BloodNet emerges from the shadows onto GOG.com

I've got to hand it to GOG.com, they're really reaching back to bring some these old PC games kicking and screaming into 2014. I'll freely admit I hadn't heard of BloodNet, an RPG/adventure game from Micropose that was releas...

Grab Hotline Miami at 75% off on GOG.com

While it's certainly been the subject of many a sale opportunity by this point, I would feel remiss in failing to take advantage of any opportunity to encourage people to play Hotline Miami. So, in that spirit, I come to info...

GOG.com site strains at the start of its Winter Sale

Well, I'm sure this hasn't gone to plan for the folks over at GOG.com; today saw the launch of their Winter Sale and the website has been unreachable for a good portion of the day. Which might be a good thing as this is a sig...

GOG Winter sale launches with free classic Fallout titles photo
GOG Winter sale launches with free classic Fallout titles
by Alasdair Duncan

We're in mid-December and for me, that means two things: I'm pretty much broke as I've bought so many Christmas presents (you're welcome friends and family) and that there's going to be bargains galore as many online outlets start their winter sales. GOG.com, purveyor of classic and indie titles, has started its promotion and to celebrate, it will be giving away Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for not a single penny, for the first 48 hours of the sale

Unfortunately, GOG.com won't be able to sell those first three Fallout titles after the end of 2013, so get your grubby mitts on them as fast as possible. In addition to lots of titles being reduced to half price, there will be daily deals and users will receive mystery boxes each day as well.

The sale runs until December 29 and I'm hoping to pick up Privateer 2, Alpha Centauri, and Outcast to add to my PC classics library. On a separate note, I'm also hoping to be able to afford food at the end of the month too.

Theme Park is now on GOG.com

Whilst looking at the newly-created page on GOG.com for Theme Park, I was shocked by the revelation of its original release date of 1994. Was Bullfrog's seminal management sim really that old? In fairness, looking at screensh...

GOG.com have 'blink and you'll miss 'em' Insomnia deals

Or you can buy all 32 games for $97.29, a savings of $146.40. A pretty killer deal if you're into any of these old school titles. You have the entire weekend to nab this deal before it's gone.
