Contest: Win a limited edition copy of Retro City Rampage DX for the PS4!
by Bill Platt

The fine folks at Vblank Entertainment (Brian Provinciano to be exact) want to give one lucky Destructoid community member a limited edition copy of Retro City Rampage DX for the PS4. What makes this so special is that only 2,000 physical versions of the game will ever be made.

I was lucky enough to buy a copy for myself before they sold out (less than 24 hours later). Let me tell you, this is definitely something you want for your collection!

You're probably wondering, "But Bill, how can I win this super special, limited edition game?" Easy, all you have to do is leave a comment below! The winner will be chosen at random on Sunday, December 21st at 5:00 pm Pacific time. Limit one entry per person, and the contest is open to anyone with a US mailing address.

Good luck! And remember our Huge Members get automatic entry into all contests (and double entries if you enter one manually), exclusive beta code giveaways for upcoming games, ad-free browsing, and more! And most of all, your $3's a month helps directly support the site you love. Try us out!

OC ReMix celebrates turning 15 with, yep, you guessed it photo
OC ReMix celebrates turning 15 with, yep, you guessed it
by Jordan Devore

OverClocked ReMix has given us a ton of amazing remixes over the years. Longer than I realize, sometimes -- the game music community celebrated its 15th anniversary this week. Crazy.

For the big one-five, the site has released 15 new remixes from 15 different game systems. You can listen to those here, free of charge. Lot of fun titles on the list, including Chrono Trigger, Demon's Souls, and, haha, Super Mario Sunshine. Here's to 15 more years.

Got a favorite OC ReMix album? Mine is Donkey Kong Country 2: Serious Monkey Business.

Sure, I'll take a free copy of SimCity 2000 on Origin photo
Sure, I'll take a free copy of SimCity 2000 on Origin
by Jordan Devore

I never thought I'd have this many games attached to my Origin account, but here we are with yet another On the House offer from Electronic Arts I might as well claim. You know, just to have.

SimCity 2000 is free (read: free to keep, not free to play for a limited time) so get on that.

I think the last time I seriously played this was in, gosh, middle school? It's been a while.

Grab some free tunes from the Dungeonmans soundtrack photo
Grab some free tunes from the Dungeonmans soundtrack
by Darren Nakamura

I spent a lot of time listening to Hitoshi Sakimoto's work with the soundtrack for Final Fantasy Tactics. Heck, it is still in my rotation for background music during board game nights. From the sound of it, Andrew "zircon" Aversa did the same, as he composed the soundtrack for the Kickstarter-funded roguelike Dungeonmans taking inspiration from Sakimoto.

We have some exclusive tracks available for download. "Cimmerian Cavern" is subdued, and like a musty cave, it almost feels damp itself. "The Tower Invincible" evokes a more adventurous feeling, like a song played by minstrels as knights march into battle. Check them out below, or head to OverClocked for the full album.

SSX, Worms Battlegrounds free with Xbox Live Gold in December photo
SSX, Worms Battlegrounds free with Xbox Live Gold in December
by Jordan Devore

November is almost over, which means more free-with-Xbox-Live-Gold games to look at and hopefully remember to download once they're actually available.

Throughout December, Xbox One users with a paid subscription can nab Worms Battlegrounds at no extra charge. Xbox 360 players can claim The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief (*shrugs*) from December 1 - 15, and then SSX from December 15 - 31.

I've cooled on SSX over the years (the 2012 title, I mean, not the whole series; SSX Tricky is still in the running for my desert-island game of choice) but for free, yeah, it's worth playing.

As for The Raven, it's an episodic crime adventure from King Art Games set in 1960s Paris. But, more importantly, there's this screenshot:

[Update: Contest over! Winner is king kong five! Thanks to all who participated.]

Destructoid has partnered with our friends at ConsoleTuner to bring you another awesome contest! Up for grabs this time is the white PlayStation 4 Destiny bundle and a Titan One cross-compatibility device. Sweet!

For those who aren't familiar, the Titan One has a cool feature that allows you to plug one console's controller into another console and actually have it work. So for the contest, we want you to show us what controller you'd like to plug into another console! Wanna play an Xbox One with an NES controller? A Dreamcast with an iPad? Feel free to get as silly as you want.

To enter, either take a photo of your fantasy controller/console combo (use tape for extra laughs) or use an image editing program to mock one up and post it in the comments below. Limit one entry per person, and the contest is open to anyone in the world!* You have until Sunday, November 30 at 11:59pm Pacific to enter. Winner will be chosen at random.

Good luck, and have fun! And remember, our Huge members get automatic entry into all contests (and double entries if you enter one manually), exclusive beta code giveaways for upcoming games, ad-free browsing, and more! You won't have to leave home for this Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire shiny Beldum distribution photo
You won't have to leave home for this Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire shiny Beldum distribution
by Jordan Devore

Now through January 14, 2015, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire players can claim a free shiny Beldum via in-game internet distribution. No GameStop visit necessary!

The Pokémon comes with its Mega Stone so, eventually, you can have your own shiny Mega Metagross. The X on its face turns from yellow to blue during the Mega Evolution process for what I'm sure are highly scientific biological reasons and not because "damn that looks cool!"

Contest: Win a code for The Sun and Moon! photo
Contest: Win a code for The Sun and Moon!
by Mr Andy Dixon

The Sun and Moon released on Steam last Friday, and to celebrate Destructoid has 10 Steam keys to hand out to lucky readers!

The Sun and Moon, the winner of Ludum Dare 29, is a platformer with a unique mechanic: you can dive into the ground. Momentum is conserved but gravity is reversed, letting you fling yourself high into the air or deep beneath the surface. The goal is always straightforward -- collect the three orbs in the level and jump into the wormhole -- but spikes, endless drops and impossible heights make this more and more difficult.

For a chance at a code, just leave a comment below! Limit one entry per person, and you have until this Sunday, November 23 at 11:59pm Pacific to enter. Contest is open to anyone in the world.

Good luck! And remember, our Huge members get automatic entry into all contests (and double entries if you enter one manually), exclusive beta code giveaways for upcoming games, ad-free browsing, and more! And most of all, your $3 a month helps directly support the site you love. Try us out!

Should you decide to buy Sunset after the trial ends, you can pick up where you left off. Also, Achievements can be earned during this extended demo if you're still into earning those.

Great offer and I hope there are more to come.

We've partnered with our friends at Maximum Games to give away a PC copy of Farming Simulator 15 to three lucky Dtoiders!

In the game, players are challenged to create the biggest, best farm possible. Using real-word vehicles and machinery such as tree harvesters, chainsaws and chippers, you'll prepare your land, plant crops, harvest, and sell your bounty in a marketplace. You'll also breed animals like sheep and cows (presumably all within their own species), make honey, and drive a huge fleet of (sexy) tractors! You can play locally or online with up to 15 friends, share mods, and more. Sounds fun!

To win, just leave a comment below telling us your favorite thing about farming. Limit one entry per person, and you have until this Friday, November 21 at 11:59pm Pacific to enter. Contest is open to anyone in the world.
