Grab a free copy of BioShock Infinite on Xbox Live photo
Grab a free copy of BioShock Infinite on Xbox Live
by Jordan Devore

March is already half over (have you filed your taxes yet?), which means more free Xbox games.

With an active Xbox Live Gold membership, you can now download BioShock Infinite for free on Xbox 360. Love it or hate it, there's no denying the game's heavenly opener. Every once in a while I'll get the urge to see the ascension to Columbia again on YouTube. "Halleluiah."

Rayman Legends is the one and only free Xbox One title this month, but it's so good I don't even mind. That and the recently-released Ori and the Blind Forest make for a blissful combination.

Dance the night away with custom taunts in TF2

Are you a taunter? I'm not. Okay, well, I try not to be. But then developers go and design achievements around taunting X amount of times, and it'd be rude not to oblige them probably. Or there's some jerk in Awesomenauts who...

There is a couch in Battlefield Hardline and you can drive it

First-person shooters can feel pretty generic most of the time. You're handed your gun and objective and then proceed to shoot people that get in your way. You die, and start all over again. The ones that really stand out, h...

One screen of ODST in Master Chief Collection sums up the past four months

Halo 3: ODST is getting added to The Master Chief Collection sometime in the near future. It's going to be free for anyone that owned The Master Chief Collection prior to December 19, and it'll likely be paid D...

A Titanfall sequel is coming and surprise, it will be multiplatform

At last, it looks like PlayStation 4 owners will finally be able to see Titanfall. That initial sting of denial will be wiped away with a second installment as IGN confirmed the same information we already knew -- even if it ...

Homewreckers wanted for the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege PC alpha

I'm a total newcomer to the Rainbow Six series but I quite liked Siege's wall-blasting ways at E3 last year. Not so much for the tactical possibilities that destructible environments enable as the simple human desire to punc...

Evolve's free map DLC is doing that 'Xbox first' thing photo
Evolve's free map DLC is doing that 'Xbox first' thing
by Jordan Devore

It's great to see free maps in a multiplayer-centric game like Evolve, but -- there just had to be a but -- timed platform exclusivity? Considerably less good. When the maps Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry debut on March 31, they'll only be available for Xbox One. Following that initial release, PC and PlayStation 4 players will be able to download the pair on April 30.

"Mine" is set in a cave system whose hidden pathways should thoroughly confuse untrained hunters (like me!), while "Foundry" is more of an industrial zone containing crates of bohrium that the beast can consume (though doing so will make enough noise to give away its position).

If Turtle Rock Studios can keep a steady flow of new content going, there may still be a decently active player base by the time I dig into Evolve. Speaking of which, I need to check in on Titanfall.

Dying Light just made surviving the zombie apocalypse a whole lot tougher

When it comes to zombie outbreaks, it'd be foolish to go looking for a challenge. The easier you have it, the better. Why make a mockery of fate and scream "Come at me, bro?" It may be ill-advised, but Techland's giving thos...

Titanfall turns one year old, gives away all DLC for free photo
Titanfall turns one year old, gives away all DLC for free
by Brett Makedonski

Titanfall celebrates the first anniversary of its launch today. There might not be a grand showcase dedicated to everything that's happened to the game over the year, but EA and Respawn haven't forgotten about it altogether. They're quietly handing out gift bags to anyone who still wants to party.

All of Titanfall's add-ons across all three platforms -- Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC -- have been made free. Users can simply queue up the season pass on their preferred system. It's currently unknown how long this freebie will last, so it's best to pick it up now instead of waiting.
