Well, it's finally happening, guys. Deadpool will star in his very own videogame, called Deadpool: The Game. High Moon Studios (the team behind Transformers: Fall of Cybertron) will be handling the development duties, with A...

According to a (quickly retracted) mix-up on the PlayStation Blog, Chris Redfield's cohort in Resident Evil 6 will be none other than our very own Associate Editor Tony Ponce! We're not sure how he pulled it off, but nonethel...

Every so often a marketing idea will come along to gear their product toward 'gamers' or 'geeks', and sometimes those products aren't terrible. Or you get something like Erox, a unisex fragrance targeted at the aforementioned...

A lot of people are saying that gaming needs to "grow up". Jade Raymond said it. Some guy who wrote an article for a videogame blog said it. A taco meat-colored guy who shops at my local Gamestop said it. Everyone is saying i...

Did you know that Team Fortress 2 had a backstory? Me neither. Apparently Valve's been fleshing out via comics since 2010. It's oddly interesting, and brings order to one of the most chaotic kill-a-thons in modern gaming. Still wondering what all this hat business is about...

Zombies are messy. Like, really messy. Their fragile bodies are falling apart and full of blood, so I'm sure it comes as no surprise that Juliet gets covered in zombie bits after a day of slaying them with her chainsaw. She ...

When I said, "Take my money Replay, take it now," in response to the announcement that Replay Entertainment had acquired the Leisure Suit Larry property for the purposes of remaking the series, I was being figurative. Replay...

Get excite, people. Spy vs. Spy is coming back. The Spy vs. Spy series of comic strips, first published in the pages of Mad Magazine over fifty years ago, follows the hijinks of black and white spies who are co...

Limbo is one of those games that works well because of its atmosphere. When you take that element away, like Dorkly did, you end up with something silly, and maybe a little bit scary, like the above video. Just be warned, once you've seen this video you can never unsee it. Lollipop Spiders. That's all I've got to say. Limbo with a flashlight [Dorkly]

All I want for Christmas is for this Machinima trailer to be for a real movie. Sadly it isn't, which I think is a shame. Don't worry though, there is an Angry Birds movie in the works. It just isn't an homage to Snatch (the movie, you perverts). Seriously though, this is an amazing idea, and while I have less than no desire to see the real Angry Birds movie, I would go watch this movie. Twice.

I've been playing a ton of Kinect games for review lately, and one of these is Ubisoft's Self Defense Training Camp. The game aims to teach you a variety of techniques that you can employ to get yourself out of a dangerous situation. I found the whole experience to be thoroughly enlightening and wanted to put together a video which showcased how there's a way to escape absolutely any problem.

Sometimes I really want to pack it all up and quit while I'm ahead. That's how I felt when I first heard that I'll have a bit part in the upcoming XBLA/PC/WiiWare title Retro City Rampage. I wasn't sure it could get an...

Sometimes people ask me why I like Rhythm Heaven Fever so much. It's a hard thing to explain. Like with so many rhythm-action games, you really need to play it to understand why its great. Nest time the topic comes up,...

This isn't the first we've seen of Tim and Eric's interpretation of Saint Row: The Third''s fictional mascot Professor Genki and his "Japanese" game show. There have been bits and pieces of this thing around for a ...

If you missed yesterday's Destructoid Show, we did a nice little recut of the Grand Theft Auto V trailer that went live yesterday. Most people seem to get a kick out of it, but some others are posting outraged YouTube comments because they think it's real. Oh, internet. You so stupid.
