Star Fox Zero

Star Fox Zero might have poor sales but at least it has these puppets

When Falco is bringing back frightening memories of Skeksis chowing down at dinner or sucking the life out of little cabbage patch kids, you know it's legit. These Star Fox puppets man, they're so good! And Nintendo is getting as much milea...

Yes, the new Zelda is the only thing Nintendo has planned for E3

With multiple publishers pulling out of the E3 show floor proper and holding their own events, it makes sense that Nintendo would ramp down even more than it has in recent years. But this ramp is basically a nub at this point. Nintendo has ...

Watch the Persona 5 livesteam event here

Atlus is debuting its Persona 5 livestream right now, where it's expected that we'll get more information on the project -- specifically, a release date of some kind. At the moment it's just showing scenic views of Tokyo Tower in Japan, but...

Bazaar

Review: Bazaar

I see the term "tech demo" used derogatorily often, but it shouldn't always be an insult. Sure, if a game is 60 bucks and uses a half-assed gimmick, it deserves to be called out. But for bite-sized $10 experiences that are fun to play for a few hours, an afternoon of light fare isn't the worst thing in the world. Bazaar is basically the definition of that concept.   read

Valve mixes up Steam's review system

Fallout 4's 'Far Harbor' will be the game's first substantial add-on

How great would a PlayStation VR Jumping Flash be?

Everyone has at least one classic series that they hold water for, even if there's no chance of getting another entry. For some, that's Metroid (ha! Kidding. Or am I?), for me, it's Jumping Flash. Years before Mirror's Edge would ...

About Chris Carterone of us since 3:56 PM on 01.05.2009

Chris (Magnalon) has been enjoying Destructoid avidly since 2008. He finally decided to take the next step, make an account, and start blogging in January of 2009. Now, he's staff!

-------------------

Twitter - @DtoidChris

I'm in my 20s, I'm married, and I've been playing games since I was 4. I still remember buying my own NES system at Sears and going home and playing Mario/Duck Hunt. Fast forward to the present, my wife and I now own a PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U.

If I had to choose a system I had the "best times" with, it would be a two way tie between the Sega Dreamcast and Sony Playstation 2. My favorite game series is Mega Man Classic, but I own every Metal Gear, Devil May Cry, Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Wario, Tony Hawk, main series Final Fantasy, and Resident Evil game ever released in the US (and a lot more), so it's a close call!

There are too many good games out to count now, but I'm always itching to play my backlog of old PS2 action titles. I'll play anything and everything action-adventure, so if you have a game in mind, drop me a line! I have strong opinions regarding the financial decisions of many publishers, but at the end of the day, I'm willing to give anything a chance; especially if it comes recommended by a community member.

Oh; and in 2012 I started contributing to Destructoid.

Currently backed upcoming crowdfunding projects:

Mighty No. 9

Hover

Yooka-Laylee

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Heart & Slash

Shenmue III

I also backed the Tiny Cartridge Patreon in 2014 but no longer back any Patreon campaigns currently
