The Behemoth has boasted an impressive milestone today, revealing that the Castle Crashers leaderboards have logged 900,000 players. According to the studio, that equates to roughly 3,532,940 princesses saved and 112,478,313,017 swings of a sword. That's a very loose estimate, of course.
Castle Crashers is one of the most critically acclaimed and beloved XBLA titles, managing to rise above its notorious multiplayer issues in order to become a much staple Xbox Live game. To celebrate its success, The Behemoth is running a little contest in which fans can guess the exact time and date that Castle Crashers hits 100,000 users. Castle Crashers is the only XBLA game I own where I wish I could get my points back, I bought it for the online co-op, I was severely dissapointed and I didn't care about the game anymore after the patch came out.
