A Boy and His Blob for the Wii is such a better game than the NES original, it isn't even funny. The new version doesn't restrict you to a limited number of jellybeans, sports a much more pleasant art style, and has a hug button. A hug button! That will forever be the greatest addition to any videogame ever.
Anyway, nerdcore artist 8Bit Duane of Action Adventure World has just released a music video for his A Boy and His Blob rap. The blob in this song is more like the NES incarnation than the Wii one. In other words, it's an ungrateful little sh*t that won't follow simple directions. No more jellybeans for him.
Tony Ponce (aka megaStryke) is a culturally confused, Canadian-born Puerto Rican who grew up in Japan and South Florida ... yet can only speak English. This song really pales in comparison to the other things he's done. He hasn't really been the same since breaking off from BrandO, though his Mega Man 6 album was pretty fun.
Majesco seems to release quite a few games that are underrated because they release a lot of junk in addition to it. This was one of the former. Absolutely exceptional game.
I wanted to like this so bad, but Duane just isn't as good without BrandO, really. Fuck, I miss those guys together, they were like fucking magic, and I loathe most rap.

Agreed. This isn't nearly as good as the Duane & BrandO stuff.
