This wasn't that entertaining. Not saying it was bad, it just felt like a joke that went on for too long.
With that said, I can't stand 8-bit being used as a term for what is simply pixel-art, there's nothing 8-bit about this apart from maybe the music, and I'm not even sure of that, but I don't know a lot about sound.

Number one, to attack me personally is uncalled for.
Second, the quality of the animation is terrible, stiff, the detail in the backgrounds is lacking. looks like a newgrounds flash game, not a retro inspired project, as a comparison, Retro City Rampage is a great example of doing this style justice, hell, Realm of the Mad God as well.
That Team Fortress Arcade game too, all these do retro right.

That was amazing! I'm iffy on the flick (but I too will see it for the premise and decent production values alone). If this were a real game in the likes of PSN/XBLA, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
