50 Cent: Blood on the Sand footage shows blood, sand, and turret action

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand footage shows blood, sand, and turret action photo
     PS3

There’s something about 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand that gets me revved. I’m not sure if it’s the new cover system, the gritty dialogue, the violence, or the fact it’s the first game that will allow players to play as 50 Cent while utilizing a turret. Perhaps it has something to do with 50 finding the time to visit strip clubs as his world crumbles before his eyes.

As you can see from the screens above, 50 is back, and the experience is quite different than the previous title, Bulletproof. We have a new trailer available after the break, but you have to be over 18 to view it because of the exploding body parts and practically naked women dancing around under playful purple and pink strobe lights.

In addition to the wicked action being displayed, we have the semblance of a storyline being displayed. A mean looking guy has stolen something from 50 and it's his job to get it back. You can join 50’s fight when the game hits retail at some point this January on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

My name's for people close to me...

This is just hilariously bad. I can't believe this is being published.

This looks so stupid, it might actually be fun. I'd hate to support it, though, seeing as it really does seem to be a vehicle for 50 Cent's ego. Then again, let's compare his dialogue to, say, Master Chief, and see if either of them are well-developed characters.

This looks like hilarity. If the shooting isn't as god awful as the Bulletproof, it could be good times.
