Hmm I Don't play Reach anymore...After Black-ops I lost my desire to play Reach the controls just aren't as tight and the game isn't as fast paced idk O_o maybe someday I will get back into it and rank up but for now It's collecting dust.
I love Reach but it throws me off to switch between Halo controls and CODBLOPS handling. I usually alternate weekly to minimize the confusion.
Half the rounds including it's own category feature the DMR as the default weapon so that's not surprising.
Considering it's a game about killing shit, I'm not surprised.
I'd gladly play some Reach if I had a 360. Always loved Halo for some reason, but never played it that much.

On top of feeling severely ripped off by LIVE and there being very few games that I can't play on my PS3 or PC anyway, after a couple of weeks of CoD with ma 360 buddies, the 360 is losing it's appeal already.
Maybe I'm just not in the "oooh rah, ma alien blaster FPS games!" 360 target market, maybe because I'm not at school anymore, it doesn't matter that all the kids have 360's, or maybe my PS3 was more than enough console for me already....

@GarethxxGod - I'm loving left for Dead 2 on my PC/Mac right now, (although i'm not a Kb/M fan, so I need to look at hooking up my PS3 controller to my PC, I would hook up the 360 controller, but man, i hate that thing, it hurts my hands, so uncomfortable) if i spot it cheap enough i may grab a 360 copy too! You my friend will be the first to know if i do!

The reason I didn't play ME2 on PC just yet is because I got my PC the same day I got my 360, ie I've only had a PS3 till a few weeks ago. Both after reading that ME2 runs on the ME3 engine on PS3, so holding out for the definitive version thanks.

Xbox 360 got 22 console exclusives for 2010. PS3 got 19, balanced by the fact that those with ludicrous PCs can play roughly half of the Xbox 360 exclusives. Of course, anyone who has the cash for a PS3 and a good computer probably has a 360 anyway.
Those arguing the ergonomics, that's largely a function of comfort of your muscles. Stick to one console, and its controllers will feel more comfortable to you because that's the one that your muscles are used to. Try gaming for the a significant length of time on a significantly different controller (like the PS3 to Xbox 360, which switches the left analog stick) and of course your hand is going to hurt: You're using different muscles to do something.
I'm speaking as an owner of all three plus a PC here, guys. When I got my PS3 two years after launch, I hadn't held a Playstation controller for over two years outside of a single replay of Final Fantasy XII, which is not the most demanding game. My hands were cramping a bit and hurting after a few hours on Uncharted because I'd gotten used to the 360 controller.
As for Halo? That's awesome. I try to get in a couple games every few days... God knows I can't stand Black Ops or Modern Warfare 2 by comparison.

Both systems have their negatives, but I'll grant the updates. When I bought my dad the PS3, it took nearly an hour between the time I put the GT5 disc in and the time I was testing the Mad Catz control scheme I hooked up for him thanks to the installation, the system updates, and the game updates.

Gears co-op is fun and all, but if you haven't played the online modes then you've really only experienced a small percentage of the appeal. Horde is unmatched for a five player co-op experience, and some of the versus modes are excellent. I think you owe it to yourself to at least try it out... unless you really are reserved to only playing bad games so you can justify your hatred for the console.

Goodness, those games are so easy to max and look so much more beautiful on pc. It's like playing the god of war trilogy and you laugh at how the game looks better graphically than the cutscenes.
