30th Anniversary Macross Blu-ray includes a classic gem

11:30 AM on 04.26.2012

Macross fans rejoice! The details about the upcoming Blu-Ray remaster of Macross: Do You Remember Love just keep getting sweeter. We revealed last month that the Japan only release would be a Hybrid Disc, containing a PS3 game, Macross: My Boyfriend is a Pilot 2012, as wel as the amazing cell animated film. Now we find out the PS1 classic shooter, also titled Macross: Do You Remember Love will also be included.

There's no word wether the side scroller will receive any HD treatment, or any type of update. Pre-orders for the limited edition pack look be sold out at Japanese retailers, but the standard version, which still includes the games can still be found. Luckily I got my order in a while back, and will be happily celebrating the 30th anniversary of my favorite anim of all time when released this July.
