I've rented and played the first two games, and I know I'm a sinner, but they didn't seem to offer enough to hit the "buy" range. But damn if 3 isn't looking slick enough to make me want to buy all of them right away now. The multiplayer beta was quite enjoyable as well. Can't wait to play this!
Uncharted 1 was good. Uncharted 2 was amazing. I guess Uncharted 3 will be perfect! The graphics in 2 were so good when I saw the MP Beta of the 3rd i was shocked it looked so real.

I do agree the Ad is too short though. Sony really needs to step up their advertising in the US if they want to sell consoles.
Half the (non gamer) people I know had no Idea the PS3 could even go online until after the hack ;P

If there is a good thing about this ad, its that it actually shows phenomenal gameplay instead of just being funny.
Between this and Dark Souls, I couldnt be more excited. I just hope this game sells a record breaking amount because the guys at Naughty dog deserve it.
I've been avoiding everything Uncharted 3 on purpose. I don't want anything spoiled when I play it. I haven't watched any adverts for it since the original release movie. I want it to all be a surprise when I play through.

I saw the ad watching the game with me old daddy just last night. He's the kind of old guy who thinks video games rot your brain, and cause people to start riots, but even he thought it looked good.

it basically brought back my love for third person shooters.

Best series out there right now imho. U1 is just as much fun now as it was on the first day. U2 is just as amazing now as it was on the first day. 3 will likely be just as amazing in years to come as well. Looks mind-blowing tbh.
I'm playing through Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for the first time. The gun fights have become a tad tedious, however I'm almost done with the game and it's been really great, previous complaint aside. Can't wait to play 2 and 3.

now that the console's dropped in price (in comparison to it's launch price) I'd honestly say that you NEED to have both big consoles... The Uncharted series really is worth having a console for (IMO) not a sony fanboy here, I've got both consoles.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Uncharted is a great series, but God of War is better. Uncharted looks great, the sets are killer and the action is ramped up, but it's a pretty wonky combat system and really easy to beat. God of War can be insanely challenging at times, the boss battles are epic and there is just as much action and setting.
Uncharted is great, but I hope the 3rd installment doesn't have 1,000 instances of me jumping to an impossible ledge that crumbles and my sidekick saving my butt for the umpteenth time.
Kudos to the awesome platforming in Uncharted though.

Ive debating Uncharted vs. God of War all the time with myself adn jimmx's dog ROLF. It pains me too pick one over the other, but the sheer class, more thoughtful maturity and better character based story makes me say Uncharted. Freakin LOVE GOW and they are equals in Visuals, Art Direction, Set Peices, but Uncharted just has that CLICK and sense of CLASS or something that GOW doesnt match.
