2K Sports has announced that accompanying the March 5 release of MLB 2K13 will be a combo pack that features NBA 2K13 alongside the baseball game. The bundle will retail for $80, which is a savings of $40 over purchasing the games à la carte. Of course, that's only if you can't manage to find NBA 2K13 for less than full price five months after release.
For anyone that's really confident in their skills, MLB 2K13 may be a worthwhile investment, as 2K Sports has recently confirmed the return of the Perfect Game Challenge. This year's contest sees a marked decrease in potential winnings, as the prize pool is shared. However, if you can take home $250,000, the extra $20 to pick up NBA 2K13 won't seem like more than chump change.
