2007 Nerdcore pinup calendar sneak peek

When we built Destructoid, we knew it would make a subtle impact to the cheap sticky fabric underlining of the gaming world. Instead of something more constructive like creating a true unfiltered dialogue between publishers and gamers ... we're just attributed to the mass peddling of naked women with video game consoles. Perhaps its too soon before we get there, but we're happy to see some fresh advancement of the Nerdcore (by some opportunistic bastard who beat us to the punch). The calendar preview page looks promising, but the boredom on their faces is palpable. Florian from Kotaku has already figurative nailed them:

Gorgeous glutes and preoccupied expressions aside, these ladies do lack a genuine geek factor due to the impeccable quality of the photography and obvious absence of pubic lice.
