A man by the name of Ryuto created this very special emulated speedrun of Brain Age. How is this special? Well this isn't a traditional speedrun as the main goal is to entertain by answering the game's math questions with iconic Nintendo characters.

How is this possible? Ryuto answers the questions by exploiting the game's stroke detection system that it uses to recognize numbers. Pretty rad little trick Ryuto exploited, eh?

He's using a cheat code.

The game usually resets after 3 or different pen strokes.

@Aurain Considering that the entire run is watchable in your nearest TAS capable emulator, you're completely wrong.

@Blahblahblahblah: Same goes to you. You can download the original input file and run it. It's a TAS, which means it's tool assisted. This one happens to be a playaround TAS, usually meaning accomplishing a goal in a game that would normally be boring by being as silly as possible. Tool assisted, for those not in the know, means utilizing frame-by-frame advance, rerecord, slowdown, savestates, and even checking and determining RAM values to figure out RNGs, all to complete a game as fast as absolutely possible.

@Sonicandtails: Thank you for the excellent breakdown of TAS for those who don't know. I was planning to write an explanation, but then saw your post.

His drawing may be a Porsche on full power but his math is a bicycle, presumably with only one foot.

Proof, if any was ever needed, that the Wii is more than two GC duct taped together.
