100 Yen: The Japanese Arcade Experience, a historical documentary on the birth and evolution of arcade culture took three years to make, came out on DVD earlier this year. Our sister site, Japanator, had very nice things to say about the doc, and I'll echo those -- it's definitely worth your time. 

Now the film is available on iTunes, Amazon, Xbox 360 and PS3, ready for download. You'll find that it's available for both rental or purchase at these digital outlets.
