I really love your reviews Mr. Sterling. I have no problem with them, and every one that I have read, I agree with. So I love that you are putting these block headed sheep in their place, long live honest reviews.
Jim, I now feel like one of your last supporters. All the fools of the internet prefer writing «SHITTTSTORM» than actually writing readable comments. Internet doesn't seem to get your sarcasm and the particular way you have to express yourself and MOSTLY HOW YOU FUKIN REVIEW GAMES! They just can't leave you alone can't they? I like your work cause I know what I'm getting. I got to know Destructoid's Jim Sterling and what he likes in games and I know that when he says FF13 sucks, well I will probably agree.
There is also a very interresting phenomenon in which I read your (rare) arsh reviews, say to myself «god its arsh!», go download the game demo and then, agree to almost all the points you picked up in the «shitstorm» review. It was most effective with Blackhawk Tangodown. Everyone said it was good for a 15$, but YOU. I went and download it, found it meh, loose and yes, a fucking spawn killing fest. Nothing graphicly interresting,etc.
So, my point is your right Jim, and you know it. Just fuck the Internet and respond to intelligent comments and not trollers who want to ruin your life. You've made your point, so weather you change the commenting system, moderating it a lot more, or just fuck off. You really should ignore them. I was told in a gaming blog (Kotaku) by another user that the best way to get rid of trolls, is to ignore them. I shall pass on the advice.

N/A is WAY off from what Metacritic says. Metacritic's score is an average, made from scores which can be well above, or well below Metacritic's average score. You did not agree with the exact average. Imagine if, last season, LeBron James played a game where he didn't score exactly 29.7 points. It would be a travesty! How dare you call yourself a reviewer if you do not give a game a score which is the exact average of all other scores.
So Final Fantasy XIII is a videogame that plays like a game that is in the genre of RPGs that come from Japan and stars characters? GOTY
I find it interesting that, without the tongue in cheek bits, this essentially reads like a typical PREVIEW of a game.
I personally have issue with the idea of reviews in general, or rather, what they have become in the eyes of the populace. It's like people use reviews to absolve themselves of having to form their own opinions. People should make up their own minds.

You just don't get it, do you? We don't want completely objective (read worthless) reviews. However, neither do we want sarcastic-laden entertainment pieces. We want reviews which help us to determine whether or not we should purchase the game.
I'm not upset that you don't like FFXIII. After all, that's just your opinion. I'm upset that you don't even try to consider what other people may or may not like in a video game. That's what a good reviewer tries to do.
