1 vs. 100 'Season Pass' hits Xbox LIVE photo

Microsoft might be looking for a way to charge Xbox LIVE Primetime title 1 vs. 100. While tab-cruising (blades are so yesterday) a Joystiq tipster discovered a strange 1 vs. 100 download: the option to purchase a “Season Pass” for the show. After downloading, the content gave him access to something called “1 vs. 100 Show GB.” It didn’t work when accessed.

We’re left wondering what “1 vs. 100 Show GB” is and why exactly Microsoft would opt to offer a “Season Pass.” Xbox LIVE Primetime titles have always been pitched to us as free for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers. Could this pass be a way for Silver members or additional family members to get in on the action in the future?

If 1 vs. 100 downloadable content intrigue isn’t your jam, perhaps the video below the fold will be. After playing General Trivia a few days ago, we were sent off in style by some spooky voices coming from the game. Beta is scary stuff, fellas.

This being a pass for Silver members sounds like the most reasonable (and hopefully true) offer.

Cause I sure ain't paying for this.

I'm guessing the GB is probably signalling that it's the British version?

It's either

1) A free pass that allows Silver Members to watch the Live shows
2) A pass that costs MS points that allows Silver Members to play Live Shows
3) Like SSKudu said, it's just a pass that lets you watch the Great Britain (soon to follow, Canadian, Japanese, etc) versions of the show, which will have different questions.

Great Britain? Maybe this means us UK kids can't play with US without working around it or something? I'm guessing it would be due to the prizes and terrible MSP conversion rate if so.

I've gotten those voices a few times as well. I'm not sure what that's all about.

Wait wait wait... you're saying there are still Silver members who are simply Gold members (pun intended) that haven't renewed? Christ... Amazon always has 13 month cards for like $30.
