The second season of Xbox LIVE Primetime launch show 1 vs. 100 is kicking off in a few days from now. On November 20th, we¡¯ll be participating amongst the digital crowd believing once again that there¡¯s a chance one of us could become the One and win a VCR or whatever. While we doubt we can game the system enough to get an opportunity to win big prizes, the threat of earning an Achievement or two is very likely this time around.

Earlier this weekend Joystiq posted the full list of Achievements for the upcoming season, many of which seem obtainable. Take ¡°Hair Trigger¡± for example. All you need to do to earn the sweet 15 Gamerpoints is answer three consecutive questions correctly with an Instant bonus in tow -- easy stuff. Similarly, the ¡°Lowrider¡± Achievement seems like something we¡¯ll get within seconds of play.

So, Season two is indeed happening and should be providing some easy points to all our Gamerscores. Any thoughts?

Heh, guess they need to boost player numbers. At least none of them rely on being the one or in the mob.

I assume 1 vs 100 is still free for gold members? If so I'll hop on every now and then. Trivia is always a fun little distraction when you have a few people in a party to chat with. :)

Yeah but does participating in Season 2 cost money? I know Microsoft was considering making users pay for a service that they are only allowed to use if they pay for Gold.

So basically, you'd be paying Microsoft so that you could pay Microsoft.
