1 vs 100 opening up to Xbox LIVE Silver members this weekend photo

I have taken the liberty of planning the weekend for any and all Xbox LIVE members who don't have a Gold subscription. You will be playing 1 vs 100, and you're going to like it, too.

We received urgent word that Microsoft will be opening the floodgates for the premium game show for Silver members starting this Friday and continuing through Sunday. If you've successfully avoided playing 1 vs 100 this far, you probably think we are all insane for playing the silly thing so much.

But hey, don't knock it until you have tried it. It may be -- in a lot of ways -- dumb, but with a group of friends it's a blast to play, oddly enough. Oh, and I'm calling it right now: there will be a question about a certain celebrity death if not this weekend, sometime soon.

Thank you for the info, if it is how i think it will be it should be quite interesting. Except of course if they let random people speak. Unless we get to see their avatar die in a fiery demise. (and Elsa just pay for fucking gold yearly, in this age of commerce anally raping us it's not that bad a deal!

You know, I love playing this thing. It's just a trivia game, plain and simple. I can't honestly say I'd watch it on TV (though, it does have The Saget) but it's fun to play.

This is actually huge news for some of us.

Remember how you couldn't win if you lived in three states? I think it had something to do with the fact that you were winning a prize based on the fact that you had paid for something (Gold membership).

So if it's now open to everyone, that means they might be able to lift the ban on people from those states. Very, very cool if that is the case.

Is this still US/Canada only?

Shouldn't Gold international subscribers be considered more of a priority than silver US ones?
