Depending on your level of self control, this is either fantastic news or a total nightmare. This week, Harmonix will be discounting a ridiculous amount of downloadable songs in the Rock Band library. How does half price on some 1,100 tracks sound to you?
The full list of applicable songs can be found here in no-frills text form, or in this .pdf. In addition to a bunch of on-sale track packs and collections, there are a ton of singles that will be only $0.99 when the discounted pricing kicks in. With Rock Band Blitz on my mind, this could be very dangerous indeed.
Harmonix is targeting Tuesday, September 18 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii in North America, while European PlayStation users should see the new pricing on Wednesday.
