'Pirate' and 'Gamer' revealed for Game & Wario

Nintendo revealed a bit more info for Game & Wario today, showing off the new minigames "Pirate" and "Gamer." Pirate has players moving to the rhythm to dodge cannon shots -- the TV only shows the ship in front of you, so you have to utilize all views to win. It looks goofy, and could get old, but we'll see.

What really won me over is "Gamer," which features WarioWare characters 9-Volt and 18-Volt playing tiny minigames, just like the classic Ware series, but with a twist -- you have to make sure you don't wake up your Mom and have her catch you playing games past your bedtime.

Game & Wario will be coming on June 23rd. I'm beyond excited to see how this turns out.

Super Smash Bros. and Borderlands are making big piles of headlines, and The Last of Us is getting an HD re-release, so I guess we haven't seen the last of it just quite yet.
