[NSFW] Onechanbara Z2: Chaos opener & alternate costumes

The problem with having a super "fan service" sort of game is that it can be hard to add more fan service. Like, there are plenty of upskirts in Onechanbara Z2: Chaos' opening cinematic, but when half of your characters are only wearing weird, tiny underwear anyways, you've cut your upskirt potential in half and undercut their lasciviousness.

Around 1:12, the video gives way to a live action skit of men yelling at each other and at a woman and covering their erogenous zones with fruit. This introduces the alternate costumes (3:15), which are just nipple covering strawberries and labia covering bananas.

Really, this is the only way you could ever play Onechanbara at TGS

If you want to play Onechanbara Z2: Chaos at TGS 2014, this is how you'll be playing it: looking into windows strategically placed over where nipples would be. Obviously. Were you expecting something else? It looks like an ex...more

Here's your Onechanbara Z2: Chaos box art

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos' cover art has been revealed, and it's actually a lot less risqué than I thought it was going to be. I was hoping they'd just forgo clothes entirely -- you know, for sales. Just kidding. I actuall...more

EDF x Onechanbara crossover is just the best

Never you mind that these outfits are Japanese retailer-specific pre-order bonuses. That's just stupid reality obscuring the fact there will be a Pale Wing costume in Onechanbara Z2: Chaos. Yes, folks will be able to kill zombies as the angel of death from Earth Defense Force. This is brilliant.  Onechanbara Z2: Chaos [Rakuten, Amazon Japan via 4Gamer]more

[NSFW] Shake it, baby: New Onechanbara Z2: Chaos screens

Look, I'm not gonna mince words. The last Onechanbara title I played was absolutely horrible. For some reason I thought Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad for Xbox 360 was going to be this sexy amalgam of zombie-slaying goodne...more

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos trailer full of tits, upskirts, and murder

Holy crap, that song it goes into around the 45-second mark is so damn bad. Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is hitting PS4 in Japan this October, where it can hopefully help shift some units, as the PS4 library isn't tickling the country's collective fancy. Looks I lot better than the Onechanbara I played on Wii. more

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos announced for PlayStation 4

Sony's PlayStation 4 isn't setting Japan ablaze just yet, like it is in much of the world. Part of that has to do with the dearth of software specifically targeted toward Japanese audiences. Enter Onechanbara Z2: Chaos, ...more

I still haven't beaten that Bloodborne TGS demo

Usually seeing a demo you played just a month ago means there isn't too much more to wring out. This is not the case with Bloodborne. The Tokyo Game Show demo bested me. That same demo was playable today at Paris Games Week. ...more

Laser Fury looks like Diablo but neon and radical

I do not mean to suggest that Diablo is not good, but the dreary look never really grabbed me, even with Diablo III's improvements in that respect. Laser Fury, on the other hand, takes a hold of my eyes immediately...more

Particulars explores the subatomic world next month

I always appreciate seeing science represented in games, outside of the typical "heroes need to clean up the mess these mad scientists made" trope. Videogames can be so powerful as tools for learning, and that potential is s...more
