Microsoft is thinking “bundle” this holiday season. On the heels of the
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundle announcement, it has been revealed through another that an additional game-themed bundle is coming, and it’s totally
Forza-flavored.
The
Forza Motorsport 3 “Super Elite Bundle” is happening … in Europe. Hitting UK retailers October 23rd for a suggested price of 249.99 Euros, the
Forza bundle comes with a hefty 250 GB hard drive, two wireless controllers, a wireless communicator, and, of course, a “Standard Edition” copy of
Forza 3.
Strangely, there is no word if the bundled Elite is splashed with
Forza branding. Also, there’s no word if this bundle is coming to North America or not. We’ll probe Microsoft about the bundle’s availability in other regions and ask for an image of said bundle while we’re at it.
Its M$ being desperate
Hey look: $ony. Does that mean I'm funny too? I guess so!
In response to your question Steel Brotha, assuming this deal is for £250, it's actually a very good bundle. A much bigger hard drive then the PS3, two controllers and a really good game for the same price as a PS3. It's a very competitive bundle, I'd say.
Who's trolling? I'm just being honest. '__'
Okay they're putting out a seperate 250GB HDD eventually. I mean...*sigh* oh Microsoft.
I think they just don't wanna have to drop the 120GB price which you know they'll have to do in order to sell the 250GB at a slighly above reasonable price.
Who'$ feeding? I'm ju$t being hone$t.
But...I will agree this is stupid, restating what I said before: WTF would someone PUT on 250 GB of freaking HDD space?!
LOLOLOL you see what I did thar ??! :P
Any way this is a good deal for the UK. Also 'SUPER LEET' has to be the best official console name ever.
Not you. Your comment was pretty funny! Mine was just a pre-emptive comment, which really should follow GeneEric around. Damn troll.
@Shadowiii
From my own experience with my PC, space always gets filled up somehow. I'd probably end up leaving games installed on the HD, leaving addons installed and bigger videos on.
But i''m not a troll. Show me 50 different instances where i trolled in Destructoid and i'll concede to your statement. If not, you are just trolling me ^__^
@ChronicLogic
Thank you, i don't see the need to verbally insult a fellow gamer here. ^__^
Just saying.
But hey, if it floats your boat, knock yourself out. :P
YOU SILLY WAPANESE.
Because you continually jump into every article about the 360 with comments about how M$ are terrible for gaming, or how you'll laugh at the people who get RROD. You never put forward constructive criticism. You jump on articles that dare criticise any aspect of any Sony game, like in Nick Chester's article on Uncharted 2's Twitter feature. Everything Sony does is brilliant, while everything Microsoft do is terrible.
That is all you ever do, Gene Eric. You're the definition of a fanboy troll, and putting an inane smiley at the end of your comments doesn't make it any better.
Also, what Chronic Logic said was not a compliment...
I beg to differ. Sexualchocolate is annoying as balls (and The Reborn doesn't exist anymore, pretty sure), but they at least feign intelligence and impartiality. Gene Eric's unabashed, shameless fanboyism is annoying and immature.
I can say that, now that I have an avatar ^___^
On topic: OMG, please release stateside..
That said, MS not releasing the 250gb hard drives to the general market and bundling them with these exclusive bundles seems pretty close to exploitation.
Think about it, a lot of the people are going to purchase these systems in order to use the larger hard drives. Someone motivated to purchase a system for these reasons will likely be a member of the core gaming demographic.
So, instead of releasing the larger hard drive separately to please their core users, Microsoft is taking them for everything they can by making them purchase an entirely new system. This, in addition to the fact that a separate release of the 250gb hd would likely drive prices down on the 120gb hd, leads me to believe a little too much greed went into the considerations for these new exclusive consoles.
That said, MS can try to sell anything they want, and I, of course, can exercise my right to refrain from purchasing it (which I will do in this case).
thats how you make money if you dont like it your in the wrong species ( I hear kangaroos dont exploit people)
