Somehow, when I think of Super Mario Wii U, and how awesome it's going to be, I realize I couldn't care less. Played Crysis 2 for 360. Really... Bland. How is this bad again? It sounds a lot like laziness more than anything. They'll just bring Wii U down, and inadvertently show shooters is not right for Wii U.

It's better than carrying around a headset, keyboard and gamepad isn't it. It's an all in one device. And it's no different than any other regular controller.

Waggle was a failure in mainstream gaming, guys. It'll be ok. It's awesome that you had fun with it but when the next fucking Epic Mickey has to go multiplatform, just admit that most people put their wiis in the closet after the first few years. I really do not believe that Nintendo will be able to depend the non-gaming masses to make their system a success this time. If they want to be taken seriously by anyone other than you guys, they will have to offer some type of classic controller support on all of their games.
Unless Nintendo gets rid of the circle pads, the Wii-U controller will be absolute shit for Fps games. Even worse than regular controllers are.

I racked in probably a hundred hours on Phantasy Star Online for Gamecube, and several dozen with Final Fantasy XI Online for PS2 using bulky wide keyboard controllers and I found them very easy to get used to and not heavy nor awkward at all. Basically don't knock something till you try it!

Have you tried playing anything on the Wii like Metroid Prime Trilogy or Medal of Honor Heroes 2? I honestly think it's more accurate than a mouse -- While you move a plastic box on the x-axis to move a virtual mouse cursor on the y-axis on a PC, you actually point where you want the pointer to go with the Wii Remote. A mouse is simulated, and the Wii Remote is waaaay closer to how you'd actually aim than a mouse is. We've been trained to be comfortable with the mouse, and that's totally fine, but moving a cursor with a mouse is much more of a simulated motion than pointing with a pointer-shaped controller.
As far as a keyboard goes, I've never felt it was accurate for movement. You only get four directions, eight if you twist your fingers. With a joystick, you get 360-degree control, and speed is controlled simply by how far you push it.

Also, I just realized something... The first and second Crysis had four years in between them. This one will come out two years after the second. It smells like EA in here.
Crytek also support the idea of next gen consoles locking out second hand games, so no wonder why they don't want games on the WiiU. I don't particulary want their games on there either.

Why do people assume that this means the Wii U isn't going to be powerful enough to run Crysis 3? I think that they just never had plans to release the game on Wii U because they started working on it before the Wii U was even announced.
If they want to put it on outdated systems and not the latest tech its their problem. They probably aren't competent enough to develop on Wii U anyway.
'Fat chance' of Crysis 3 continuing from Crysis 1 means 'fat chance' of any of my friends or I having any interest in Crysis 3.

that it technically has the same buttons as a traditional controller. The biggest thing are those damn circle pads at the top of the controller. Good luck with first person shooters and fighting game with those things. game trainer and hack
